Mum’s life was shaped by experiences that were not always easy, and she carried these quietly throughout her journey. Like all of us, she was formed by what she lived through, and those experiences influenced the way she moved through the world and through motherhood.
As her daughters, we remember Mum today with tenderness and grace. We acknowledge her life with understanding, knowing that every person’s story is complex and known fully only to God. We trust that He sees her heart, her struggles, and the love that existed in ways both seen and unseen.
Today we choose to let go of what was heavy and to hold onto compassion. We place Mum into God’s loving care, confident in His mercy and His promise of peace. We pray that she may now rest, free from all burdens, surrounded by the healing love of Jesus Christ.
“Come to me, all you who labour and are burdened,
and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28
Mum, we entrust you to God’s gentle embrace.
May you find eternal rest, and may perpetual light shine upon you.
May you rest in peace mum. Amen.
